![]() Having both on your system doesn't make much sense and is a waste of time, money, and disk space. It does not offer any important improvements over Photoshop nor does it have any functionality that is missing from Photoshop. ![]() To summarize: think of Affinity as being a scaled down less powerful version of Photoshop. ![]() To my knowledge there are no good plug-ins for luminosity masking for Affinity. I don't use a lot of plug-ins, but I do use Raya Pro for such things a luminosity masking. Affinity is quite good but I stuck with Photoshop because I find it easier to do some things in Photoshop than in Affinity and impossible or nearly impossible to do some of the things I do in Photoshop with Affinity. ![]() I bought Affinity a year or two ago when I was looking at the relative costs and wondering if it would make sense to use it instead of Lightroom/Photoshop. My question is, is there any reason I should buy Affinity Photo in the spring sale? ![]()
